Fees and insurance
Here's what therapy costs here and how to make it work for you. No fine print, no runaround.

What a session costs
| Who you'll see | Per session |
|---|---|
| Licensed therapists and specialists | $150 to $300 |
| Clinicians-in-training, supervised by our senior team | $50 to $75 |
| Free & reduced rates for financial need | Limited spots; just ask |
Every therapist's rate is listed on their profile. Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes.
Using your insurance (out-of-network)
We're out-of-network for most clients. That sounds like "insurance won't pay," but often it just means your insurance pays you back instead of paying us. Lots of people with PPO plans can get a real chunk of every session reimbursed, and they don't even know they have that benefit.
You pay for each session.
Every month, we send you a superbill: a receipt with everything your insurance needs.
You submit it through your insurance portal.
Your insurance reimburses you for whatever your plan covers.
Find out your real cost in one five-minute call.
Call the number on your insurance card and ask:
- Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health, including telehealth?
- What's my out-of-network deductible, and how much have I met this year?
- After the deductible, what percent do you reimburse for CPT code 90837?
Why private pay works well for a lot of people
You and your therapist decide how often you meet and for how long, with no insurer setting session limits. And you decide whether insurance is involved at all.
In-network
Some of our clinicians are in-network with select plans. Ask us during your free consult.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs.
Payment
We keep a card on file and charge it after each session.
