About

Meet Sylvia

Sylvia is committed to creating a safe space where clients feel accepted, focusing on support and empathy, allowing them to reveal everything about themselves here and helping them clarify their thoughts and solve problems. As a first-generation immigrant, a person of color, a woman, and a bisexual, Sylvia has her own experience of being in a "disadvantaged group". She is curious and passionate about social structure analysis and multiculturalism, and eager to help clients find their own voices, explore their own souls, and uncover their own narratives within oppressive structures. She is supervised by Rebecca Brooks, LMHC-D, LPC. In her spare time, Sylvia likes watching anime, playing video games, writing fan fiction, and reading novels.
